The MAE organization, founded by Martinha Javid, held a yard sale event on October 15 in which they sold a variety of old personal items in order to raise money for their work in helping the homeless population of Cranston. While next year’s yard sale is expected to be much larger, this one, held in the parking lot of the Doric Masonic Center on Reservoir Avenue, raised $1000 in support of their goal.
