A Journey to Relaxation
“Meditation & YOU”

The feelings of contentment and wholeness that we often seek outside ourselves are actually part of our basic nature. One way we can tap into that happiness is by meditating. The practice of meditation can awaken us to the joy of the present moment. It allows for a pause in life to help clear your mind, steady your breathing and achieve balance and harmony. Join us and bring a friend.
Aerobics
Mondays - 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
Wednesdays – 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Why Aerobics? Aerobic exercise provides cardiovascular conditioning. It increases heart rate and the body’s use of oxygen. It helps decrease the risk of heart disease, lowers blood pressure, increases HDL (good cholesterol), helps to better control blood sugar and improves lung function These are just to name a few benefits. So, why not come and try it!
Arthritis Exercise Classes
“A Low Impact Physical Activity”
Tuesdays – 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Exercise is an essential tool in managing your arthritis. It helps reduce joint pain and stiffness, increases flexibility, endurance and much more. Classes may be taken standing or sitting. Space is limited. Register by calling 780-6000.
Walk With Ease
Self-Directed
Six weeks, three times a week
Beginning Sept. 12 ending Oct. 21
Back for the fall! It’s a wonderful time of year to get out and enjoy our fall weather…not too hot and not too cold. We ask that you walk a minimum of three times a week for six weeks and keep a log of the days you walk. You determine how far you walk and for how long you walk. To register and to receive your log, call 780-6000.

Can Memory Loss Related to Alzheimer’s disease be delayed or prevented? Groundbreaking study seeks volunteers ages 55 to 80, who may be at increased risk of memory loss associated with Alzheimer’s disease.
