Exosome Ad

“Saliva as an Indicator of Alzheimer’s Disease & Related Disorders”

A collaboration between Brown University & Rhode Island Hospital

This is an investigational study of exosomes found in saliva. Discovery of biological changes in saliva and blood may help researchers identify early brain changes. These indicators could be a new tool for diagnosing memory and thinking disorders, years before the appearance of memory loss or other symptoms. Participants will provide annual saliva and blood samples as well as participate in memory tests as part of the study. If you are 65 or older and are interested in participating or would like more information, please call Terry Fogerty, Community Outreach Coordinator at 444-0085 or email memory@lifespan.org.
