SHOPLIFTING
At 4:45 p.m., Aug. 29, Cranston Police Officers arrested Angel Cordero, 46, of 517 Lonsdale Ave. Pawtucket, for Shoplifting. The arrest was the result of a call for at Shaw’s Market, 8 Chapel View Boulevard. Cordero was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.
ASSAULT W/ A DANGEROUS WEAPON
Around 4:58 p.m., Aug. 29, Cranston Police Officers arrested Philip Calabro, 32, of 55 Everly St., Cranston, for Felony Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty, Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest, Weapons other than Firearms Prohibited, and Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a call for an assault at 50 Everly St. Calabro was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.
SIMPLE ASSAULT
At 12:07 a.m., Aug. 29, Cranston Police Officers arrested Aniya Oliveira, 18, of 118 Laban St., Providence, for Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct as a result of a disturbance at 222 Montgomery Ave. Oliveira was held for morning court, according to Cranston Police.
ATTEMPTED B&E
At 1:40 a.m., Aug. 29, Cranston Police Officers arrested Sean Onorato, 32, of no known address, for Attempted Breaking and Entering as a result of a B&E in progress call at 25 Ridge St. Onorato was held for morning court, according to Cranston Police.
FUGITIVE APPREHENSION
Around 9:49 p.m., Aug. 28, Cranston Police Officers arrested Timothy Coll, 44, of 22 St. Mary St., West Warwick, for two Superior Court bench warrants and a Fugitive from Justice Warrant, according to police. The arrest was the result of a call for service at Garrett’s Family Market, 1036 Reservoir Ave. He was transported to Superior Court.
WARRANT ARREST
Around 1 p.m., Aug. 28, Cranston Police Officers arrested Victor Cuello, 37, of 125 Victoria Ave., Cranston, for an arrest and affidavit warrant out of the East Providence Police Dept. The arrest was the result of an attempted pickup at the aforementioned address. Cuello was turned over to East Providence Police.
USING A FIREARM WHEN COMMITTING A CRIME OF VIOLENCE
Around 5:17 p.m., Aug. 27, Cranston Police Officers arrested Logan Slezak, 18, of 86 Lee St., Pawtucket, for one count of Using a Firearm When Committing a Crime of Violence, Entering a Dwelling W/ Felonious Intent, and one count of Conspiracy-Felony. The arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation by the Criminal Investigations Unit (CIU), and subsequent issuance of an Arrest & Affidavit Warrant, according to Cranston Police. Slezak was awaiting arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.
WARRANT ARREST
Around 5:25 p.m., Aug. 27, Cranston Police Officers arrested Danny Alvarez Reyes, 34, of 100 Broad St., Apt. 432, Providence, for an active Arrest & Affidavit Warrant issued by Coventry Police. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Route 10 North and Reservoir Avenue. Reyes was transferred to the custody of Coventry Police.
COUNTERFEIT BILLS
Around 7:31 p.m., Aug. 27, Cranston Police Officers arrested Joshua Carmen, 49, of 15 Baker Pine Road, Hopkinton, for two counts of Passing of Counterfeit Bills/Notes and one count of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses (over $1,500). The arrest was the result of a previous investigation, and subsequent issuance of an Arrest & Affidavit Warrant. Carmen was awaiting arraignment by a Justice of the Peace as a Bail Violator, according to Cranston Police.
