The 38 kindergarten students at St. Paul's School recently got the chance to show off their knowledge of sea creatures during their oral presentations earlier last month. Inspired by an in-school presentation by Biomes of North Kingstown, teachers Victoria Dorazio and Kimberly Rezendes decided to extend the students' learning further. Each child was required to choose one sea creature to focus on. They were given a rubric to follow and had to answer very specific questions about their creature, including who the predators were, their diet and any physical characteristics. The oral presentations were given in front of both classes of students.
