The students in Danielle DeSimone and Chris Romanelli's fifth grade classes went back in time earlier this year for a trip through the Colonial era. Each student had to focus on one historical character, researching that character, presenting a project on that character and dressing up as that character. Family and friends were invited to attend a Colonial Days event at the end of June where they could listen to each student present the facts they had gathered through their research.
