According to a statement from Maj. Todd Patalano, the heist occurred just after noon that day at the Citizens Bank branch at 1850 Plainfield Pike.

No weapon was observed or shown and no one was injured,” the statement reads. “The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash through a side exit and travelled on foot in a northerly direction toward the intersection of Plainfield Pike and Route 295.”
The suspect is described as a white male standing approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall, wearing a face mask, a baggy, all-gray sweat suit and white sneakers. Police shared an image of the suspect taken from security camera footage at the bank.
