The Providence Career and Technical Academy held its annual indoor track and field invitational and a handful of local athletes made noise.

Here is a look at some of the results from over the weekend: BOYS

Bishop Hendricken’s Evan Reynolds took first in the 3,000 meter run, while teammate Sean Fagan won the 55 meter hurdles. Hendricken’s Nick Capalbo won the 600 meter run.

Luke Henseler took second in the 3,000, while teammate Domel Brown placed second in the long jump, followed by teammate Brandyn Durand in third right behind him. Hendricken’s John Santos finished third in the high jump, followed by teammate Josiah Nhar in sixth.

David DelBonis finished third in the 1,500 run for the Hawks, followed by teammate Michael Feret in sixth. Dante Caouette finished third for Hendricken in the shot put.

Durand later took sixth in the 55 dash for Hendricken, followed by teammates Brown James Gobewole in seventh eighth, respectively. Cranston West got a fifth-place finish from Aaron Tallardy in the 600 run, while teammate Joey Guarnieri took 7th in the 300 dash. Hendricken’s Michael Hanlon finished in eighth in the 600. Santos took seventh in the long jump for Hendricken, followed by West’s Mike Conti in eighth and teammate Alex DelNigro in ninth.

Dylan Maples took a seventh-place finish for West in the 1,000 meter run, while Cranston East’s Deem Quinn took 14th. Jake Picard finished seventh in the weight throw for Hendricken, followed by teammate John Fay in 10th.

Evan McGregor finished 12th in the 3,000 for the Hawks followed by teammate Keegan Tierney in 14th. Cranston West’s Nick Turo placed 11th in the 1,500 as well. West’s Sebastian Reisch took 14th in the 1,500 run, while Hendricken’s Ryan Dyer took 16th and Ian Hopkins 17th.

West’s Sean Rafferty placed 15th in the 600 run, while Hendricken’s Hunter Mumford took 13th in the 300 dash. Dante Salvaggio finished 16th in the shot put, followed by West’s Jake Lauro in 19th and Hendricken’s Alex Morin in 20th. Chris McCarthy finished 17th in the weight throw for East, followed by Hendricken’s Richard King in 18th. GIRLS

Johnston’s Lala Olagundoye took first in the high jump for the Panthers. Emmanuelle Degos finished second for Pilgrim in the 3,000 meter run while West’s Sydney Federico took third 600 run, followed by teammate Mikayla Sousa in sixth. Mikaya Parente took third in the long jump for West.

Cranston West’s Diana Turano took fourth in the 55 dash, while teammate Lindsey Hobin finished seventh in the 55 hurdles. Madison Lorello finished 12th in the 1,500 run for West, while Pilgrim’s Ava McCann placed behind her at 17th. East’s Shyan Ouch took sixth in the shot put, while West’s Juliana Bucci finished ninth. East’s Olivia Foster also finished ninth in the long jump.

East’s Zoe Catrambone finished 10th in the 600 run, while West’s Dea Xhupi took 18th and Mia Campbell 20th. West’s Maddie Barbieri finished 10th in the 300 dash, followed by teammate Anna Cozzolino in 14th and Pilgrim’s Alaysia Royal in 15th. West’s Gianna King took 17th in the 300 dash followed by teammate Nina Cillino in 19th.

Aria Lee finished 14th for West in the 1,000 meter run, while teammate Elizabeth Marses went on to take 12th in the shot put. Hobin finished 12th in the high jump, followed by East’s Madeline Baxter in 15th. Pilgrim’s Jocelyn Bechtel finished 15h in the weight throw followed by West’s Anna Cozzolino in 17th and Pilgrim’s Jolena Russo in 20th.
