By ALEX SPONSELLER The Rhode Island Track Coaches Association recently revealed its All-State and All-Division cross country teams for this past fall season, and many locals made the cut to cement their places as the top runners in the state.
Here is a look at some local results: GIRLS
Cranston East’s Stella Loezos was named to the All-Division Second Team for the Suburban group, while teammates Miko Lehnert and Aislinn Baxter made the Third Team.
Pilgrim’s Emmanuelle Degos was named to the Class A Second Team as well as the Suburban All-Division First Team. Teammate Amber Lopes was named to the Division’s Second Team. BOYS
Cranston East’s Deem Quinn was named to the All-Division Third Team for the Suburban group as well as Nick Cobb.
Evan Reynolds made the First Team All-State group while teammates Ryan Dyer and Troy Silvestri made the Second Team. Hendricken’s Andrew Frezza was Third Team All-State.
Reynolds also was named to the All-Class A First Team, while Frezza, Silvestri, Dawson Reynolds and Keegan Tierney made the Second Team. Dyer and teammate Evan McGregor made Third Team All-Class.
Evan Reynolds also made the All-Division First Team along with Dyer and Silvestri. McGregor, Tierney and Dawson Reynolds then made the Second Team, along with Pilgrim’s Justin Dorsey.
