READY WORK: Mayor Ken Hopkins led by example when he took time from his schedule to deliver a holiday meal or two in the community. Along with the Mayor were David Quiroa and Jennifer Kevorkian, Social Services Director.

Volunteers from throughout last Thursday were out assisting the Cranston Senior Center to deliver holiday meals to elders and those who would be alone on Christmas. As always, food Services
Director Ray Sinapi and his staff had everything ready in time for Christmas Dinner. In total, nearly 300 meals went out to senior residents in need. (Herald photos by Steve Popiel)
