Warren James Manton, 26, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at home after not feeling well for several days. Born in Providence, RI on October 9, 1994, Warren was the only child of the late William Joseph Manton Jr., who passed away earlier this year on March 22, and the late Laurie Ann (McCombe) Manton, who passed away on October 22, 2008.

A lifelong resident of Warwick, Warren attended Bishop Hendricken High School and graduated from Toll Gate High School in 2012. He attended CCRI and New England Institute of Technology, majoring in computer security and political science. He worked as a professional gaming dealer at the Twin River Casino in Lincoln. He previously worked for Bed Bath and Beyond in Warwick. Warren enjoyed politics, music, camping, gaming, and traveling. He traveled extensively with his Aunt Maureen, both in the US and overseas, including England, China, and Singapore. Warren had a close-knit group of lifelong friends, whom he considered family. He valued and cherished these friends and the support that they all gave each other. He will be remembered as a young man who was kind and gentle with a sharp sense of humor. He had a big heart, was easy-going and was loved by all. He added insight and levity to this world, and he will be sorely missed.

He was a beloved nephew of Maureen A. (Manton) O’Gorman, Margaret Lee (Peggy) Manton, Kate McCombe, Beth McCombe, William A. McCombe, Lisa O'Neill, and David Botham. He is also survived by his cousins Ian Alvarado, Kayla Botham, Trevor McCombe, Timothy & Leah O’Neill, and Thomas & Zachary McCombe.

Due to the restrictions of our current health guidelines, a private graveside service will be held in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, 6365 Post Road, North Kingstown. Inurnment in the Cemetery’s Garden of Meditation & Prayer Columbarium will follow.
