The Waterman community came out to view the pumpkins that school families created on Friday, Oct. 26.
"We offered pumpkins at a discounted rate of only $2 and each student worked on their pumpkin at home. We were hoping it would be a family-centered and friendly project," said Melissa Azzarone, the event coordinator.
The pumpkins were lined up on either side of a path that was illuminated by twinkle lights. At the end of the event, awards were given out for certain pumpkins that met judging criteria.
