The Cranston Area Career & Technical Center at Cranston West welcomed local business representatives at their annual student job fair. Senior and Junior CACTC students, as well as West students in career classes, met with employers seeking current and graduating students for seasonal or full-time employment and internship opportunities.
Local companies attending the event included: Applebees, Building Futures, CCAP, Cherry Hill Manor, Clean Harbors, Daves MarketPlace, Dunkin Donuts, General Dynamics – Electric Boat, Ironworkers Local 37, Legal Sea Foods, Market Basket, Old Navy, Petco, Pinkberry, Sundaes, U.S. Army, Toray, U.S. Coast Guard, Willowbrook Apartments, YMCA, Picerne Real Estate Group.
“After a two-year hiatus due to Covid, I appreciate the support of the CACTC Job Fair by our local business community,” said CACTC Director Zachary Farrell.
Special thanks go out to Anne Mantia, CACTC Career Coordinator; Heidi Carla, CPS Employment Specialist; and Richard Abruzzini, CACTC Entrepreneurship Program Teacher for organizing the event.
