The Cranston West wrestling team took on powerhouse North Kingstown last week and came up just short, with the Skippers taking home the 40-38 victory.
Dominic Schiavulli won via forfeit for West while Anthony Decotis won by fall at 120 pounds. Baker Kattan won a majority decision at 132 pounds for the Falcons.
Christopher Gomez continued to roll this winter as he won by fall at 138 pounds. Teammate Tyler Stephenson won by fall for West at 145 pounds.
Noah Robert won a majority decision at 170 pounds, while Dylan Walters won via disqualification.
