Due to a number of circumstances beyond our control, we have not been able to see any movies at the Warwick Showcase in the past few weeks but have enjoyed the TCM channel’s “best Oscar” series.
The Avon has stuck with the Dylan movie for a month, along with” Queer.”
We’ve also been catching up on some Netflix series and docs in the comfort of our own home.
We recommended Sally Field’s performance in “Places in the Heart” last weekend and rewatched it (and enjoyed it) once again, staying for a double feature with the fabulous Frances McDormand in “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.”
Here’s our Turner Classic Movies Channel for this weekend:
Friday, Feb. 14 at 8:00 p.m. CASABLANCA - One of the best films of all times, starring Humphrey Bogart.
Saturday, Feb. 15 at 8:00 p.m. TRUE GRIT - One of the best westerns of all time, starring John Wayne.
Sunday, Feb. 16 at 8:00 p.m. WEST SIDE STORY - One of the best movie musicals of all time.
