Produced by the Wickford Art Association since 1962, we invite you to come and discover the Wickford Art Festival! At its new location this year, Wilson Park, the Wickford Art Festival carries on it’s long history and reputation for featuring some of the top fine artists from across the country, but also hosting many of the well known and beloved New England and local Rhode Island artists widely admired by art enthusiasts.
Meet 180 artists showcasing their fine art in a variety of mediums including: ceramics, wood, wearable and decorative fiber, furniture, fine jewelry, drawing, etching, glass, mixed media, painting (watercolors, oil, gouache, acrylic), photography, printmaking, pyrography, and sculptures.
Admission is always free and as an added bonus to fine art collectors, Rhode Island does not collect sales tax on fine art sales! Stop by the Wickford Art Association information booth to purchase one of a kind festival apparel or enter to win a piece of art while supporting the scholarship raffle. Enjoy Rhode Island’s favorite treats including Newport Creamery Awful Awfuls, Del’s Lemonade, scrumptious kettle corn from Kettle Corn Express and delicious cuisine from Gansett Poke right in Wilson Park! Historic Wickford just a ¼ mile walk from Wilson Park is set on beautiful Narragansett Bay and the village comes alive for this annual event. Make sure to stroll down and enjoy the beloved strawberry shortcakes on the lawn of First Baptist Church on Main Street! With beautiful views, gorgeous historic homes, dozens of quality shops and a variety of restaurants, artists and attendees come to experience this one of a kind festival year after year.
