Will liberal elites respect electoral process

To the Editor,

In November 1917, following years of protest and during the horrible WWI, the Bolsheviks, a small group of anarchists and Marxists, were successful in overthrowing the Romanov dynasty which had reigned in Russia from 1613 until the abdication of Tsar Nicholas II on March 15, 1917. The Russian Imperial Romanov family (Emperor Nicholas II, his wife Empress Alexandra and their five children: Olga, Tatiana, Maria, Anastasia, and Alexei) were shot and bayoneted to death by Communist revolutionaries under Yakov Yurovsky in Yekaterinburg on the night of 16–17 July 1918.

Today, this act of barbarism is called “social justice” by the progressives and we are lead to believe that this and the liquidation of millions later was justified because of the brutal regime of the Tsars. Rarely are we told that inside this regime were the liberal elite: palace officers, clergyman, professors, professionals, and even some royalty, who were sympathetic to the aims of the mob, who encouraged this violence, and who were eventually devoured by the revolution that they had fostered.

Every day the American civil order is under assault by the Antifa & BLM mob (in spite of well meaning supporters) who loot, burn, damage, injure and kill police and innocent civilians, and by the liberal elite, mostly Democrats but Republicans also, who lead our cities, states, universities, corporations, mainstream media, churches and even the military. The so-called protestors want to rewrite our history, destroy our liberties, and eliminate the police & ICE agents and others who stand in the way of their revolution. On the evening of June 1, this mob attacked the White House and President Trump walked over to Lafayette Square to address them. The media immediately mocked him and shockingly, 1.) Gen. Mark A. Milley, the current chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff, later made a statement condemning the President’s Lafayette appearance and voiced support for the protestor’s goal. 2.) The owners of Fenway Park have erected a 252 foot sign, overlooking the Mass Pike, glorifying the BLM group which came into Providence to loot, burn, riot and to spray their signature on damaged businesses. 3.) Our wooden RI Governor, darling of Wall Street, didn’t express any sorrow towards the owners of destroyed businesses nor towards the injured policemen, instead she met with BLM leaders to create an action plan for “racial justice in the state, including policies for more comprehensive training for police officers.”

For all of them, the target is Trump and his name is hate speech. So will the liberal elites respect the electoral process and the office of the President when Trump is reelected and put an end to this violence, or will they continue with the resistance and fury that they have already unleashed in our cities and become its fodder: ala the 1917 Communist revolution in Russia?
