Really don't like the Republican/Democrat monikers, I'm running with Conservative and Progressive. I'm not sure exactly what firing 21 maintenance jobs does for anyone. I would prefer bureaucratic middle management be cut first.
As for the budget everyone is tightening belts and cutting budgets. Fuel being a big part of the equation since it affects all other products an services including those provided by the City. Wasteful spending I believe is the biggest issue in all levels of Government
