Dianne M. Petrasek, 64, of Kulas Road died September 29, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of Bill Petrasek. Mr. and Mrs. Petrasek celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on Sept. 21. Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of Josephine (Slota) Ogrodnik Jendzejec of West Warwick and the late Walter Ogrodnik and Peter Jendzejec. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by her three children, Susan M. Fournier of West Warwick, Deborah M. Brown of New Haven, Conn. and Robert M. Petrasek of West Warwick. She was a loving Grandma to Timothy and Kyle Fournier and the niece of Rev. Canon Frederick Slota. Her family is remembering her as a sweet, amazing lady who was their angel in life and who now is their guardian angel. She was an unselfish, loving and caring lady whose family was everything to her, whose grandsons were the joy of her life and who placed everyone else's needs before her own. Her funeral was held Oct. 2 from Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Ave., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Our Lady of Czenstochowa Church, 445 Washington St., Coventry. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, West Warwick.
