After voicing her complaints to airport authorities and writing to airline executives about the disruption of early morning flights from Rhode Island TF Green International Airport, Warwick resident Erin O’Brien took to the street. She got a mixed bag of reactions to her recent singular picket from a sarcastic “good morning” to a gentleman who pulled over and  applauded her activism. “I felt compelled to do it,” she said describing how she can feel vibrations in her chest from inside her house as planes take off. Since moving to the city, she said pre-dawn flights have gotten earlier and earlier. The sign she carried displays the number to file a complaint with the airport. (Warwick Beacon photo)
