At Cranston Central Libary over the weekend, kids put their survival know-how to the test in the ‘Would You Survive’ challenge! Event-goers were quizzed on what to do in disasters such as lightning strikes or plane crashes, learning all sorts of skills that just might come in handy one day. The afternoon culminated with a raft-building challenge, in which the kids had to put together a survival raft from the “wreckage” of a ship and see whose would float best with four hypothetical survivors on board.
