Diabetes Support Group
This event will feature a discussion of how age effects our energy levels. Is it normal to take that cat nap every afternoon? Learn how many common medications can increase our sleepiness and fatigue levels.
A Memory Café
Friday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m.Memory Café is a monthly gathering of individuals with memory loss along with their caregivers, friends and family in a safe, supportive and engaging environment. For more information, call 780-6254.
Veterans’ Day Luncheon & Celebration
Be sure to wear your red, white and blue as we honor our veterans on this special day. Call 780-6134 for your reservation.
November Luncheon Entertainment
Peter Fillippi will perform on Wednesday, Nov. 6, followed by Joe Vono on Wednesday, Nov. 13. Make your luncheon reservations one day in advance by calling 780-6134. The suggested donation is $3.
Transvan
Transvan, our transportation system for Cranston residents who are 55 years of age or older and/or disabled, is available to provide transportation from your home to anywhere in Cranston, Monday through Friday – to nearby malls, local markets and salons; to nearby nursing homes in Cranston. Reservations need to be made only two days in advance. A one-month pass is available for $25. For more information, call 943-3341.
