INDICTED
The Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Joshua Bunker, 29, of 86 Park View Boulevard, with burglary, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and two counts of larceny under $1,500. It is alleged that on or about Nov. 1 of last year, Bunker burglarized a home in Cranston, stealing alcohol, credit cards and money, and then stole the motor vehicle that belonged to a resident of the home.
The incident took place in Cranston, and Cranston police conducted the investigation. Bunker will be arraigned in Superior Court on Sept. 17.
DOMESTIC
Cranston police arrested Paul Bertsch, 27 of 71 Grantland Road, on charges of domestic vandalism, domestic disorderly and resisting arrest at 28 Caporal St. on Sept. 1. He was held overnight for arraignment
Cranston police arrested Denise Ronci, 56 of 135 Cannon St., on a charge of domestic simple assault at 135 Cannon St. on Sept. 1. She was held for arraignment.
Cranston police arrested Carlos Roque, of 21 Elma St. in Providence, on a charge of domestic disorderly conduct as a result of a disturbance call. He was held for morning arraignment.
John Valenti, 40, of 417 Hope St. in Bristol, was arrested on a charge of domestic simple assault and battery as a result of a disturbance call at 30 Oak St. on Aug. 31. He was held for arraignment.
DUI
Police arrested Eugene Jarbeau, 67, of 240 Begley Road in Crab Orchard, Ky., on a charge of DUI as a result of a motor vehicle accident at 395 Northup St. on Sept. 1. He was held for arraignment
Cranston police arrested Brittany Iacobucci, 24, of 18 Waterman Ave. in Warwick, on a charge of DUI as a result of a vehicle stop. She was held for arraignment.
FELONY ASSAULT
On Aug. 26, police arrested Daniel King, 27, of 25 Bain St. on a charge of felony assault with a dangerous weapon. He was held for the morning session as a violator.
RECKLESS
Cranston police arrested Carlos De Leon, of 15 Linwood St. in Providence, on charges of driving without a license, reckless driving and possession weapons other than firearms as a result of a traffic stop.
He was held for arraignment in the morning.
SHOPLIFTING
Dangel Serrano, 30, and Jaritza Serrano, 26, of 40 Russo St. in Providence, were arrested Aug. 27 on charges of shoplifting and conspiracy at Walmart. Dangel was held for arraignment. Jaritza was released with a summons.
On Aug. 27, Cranston police arrested Matthew Crosby, 22, of 57 Holburn Ave. in Cranston on a charge of shoplifting at the Walmart on Plainfield Pike. He was released with a summons.
On Aug. 27, Cranston police arrested 29-year-old Jonathan Beharry, with a last known address LKA 668 Park Ave., on a charge of shoplifting from the K-Mart on Garfield Avenue. He was held as a violator.
Police arrested Arlene Delazerda, 30, of 560 Prospect St. in Pawtucket, on Aug. 27 on a charge of shoplifting at Bob’s Store. She was later transported to court.
Emily Dejesus Hernandez, 18, of 25 Flower St. in Providence, was detained at TJ Maxx on Garfield Avenue on Aug 26 for shoplifting. She was later released with a summons.
EMBEZZLEMENT
On Aug. 30, Cranston Police arrested Dawn Watterson, 48, of 5 Social Drive in Warwick, on a charge of embezzlement at Stop and Shop on Warwick Ave. She was later released with a summons.
ASSAULTING OFFICER
Police arrested Derrick King, 25, of 102 Jordan Ave. in Cranston, on Aug. 30 on charges of hit and run, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, assault on a police officer and obstruction as a result of an investigation following a hit-and-run accident. He was taken into custody at his residence and held for arraignment.
FIREWORKS
Two juvenile males were charged with vandalism on Aug. 29 for throwing lit fireworks onto a parked car. They were later released to their parents.
