On 8/25/23 at 1611 hrs., Officers arrested Shana Rodrigues, 26, of 26 Fenner St. Cranston, RI for Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at the aforementioned address.

On 8/24/23 at 1530 hours, Officers arrested Joseph Danti, 33, of 36 Versailles St, Cranston, RI, for a Superior Court Bench Warrant as the result of a call for service at 36 Versailles St.

On 8/24/23 at 1845 hours, Officers arrested Joshua Nadeau, 44, of 202 Park Ave, Cranston, RI, for Domestic B&E, Domestic Simple Assault 3rd Offense or Greater, Domestic Vandalism, Violation of a No Contact Order and Domestic Disorderly Conduct as the result Providence Police arresting him on Cranston Warrants.

On 8/23/23 at approx. 0800hrs. SVU Detective's arrested Adedamola Adewuyi, 34, of 11 Yorktown Pl. Providence, RI. for First Degree Child Abuse based on an ongoing SVU investigation.

On 8/23/23, at approximately 1500 Hours, Officers arrested John Cotugno, III, (59), of No Permanant Address, for (3) counts of Fraudulent Use of Credit Cards - Felony, (2) counts of Theft to Obtain a Credit Card, (1) count of Conspiracy - Felony, (1) count of Fraudulent Use of Credit Cards - Misdemeanor, and (1) count of Conspiracy - Misdemeanor. The arrest was the result of a larceny and subsequent fraudulent transactions at various stores in the Garfield Plaza.

On 8/23/23, at approximately 1754 Hours, Officers arrested Paolo Marino, (59), of 282 Howard Avenue, Hope, RI, for (1) count of Domestic Violence - Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a previously issued Arrest & Affidavit Warrant, and subsequent motor vehicle stop from a Flock LPR alert.

On 8/22/23 at approx. 0033hrs. Officers arrested William Gerrity, 32, of 2 Denise Dr., Seekonk Ma. for DUI/Drugs/Alcohol 1st Offense - BAC unknown and Refusal to submit to a Chemical Test as a result of a single vehicle accident investigation at the dead end of Norwood Ave.

On 8/23/23, at approximately 1836 Hours, Officers arrested Janette Straub, (34), of 134 Pomona Avenue, Providence, RI, for (1) Driving Under the Influence (BAC .10 - .15) - 1st Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Sockanosset Cross Road.

Sex Offender Address Change

On 08/26/23 at 0227 hours, Officers arrested Peter Malboeuf, 52, of 30 Howard Ave., Cranston, RI for Sexual Offender Address Change. Arrest is the result of Providence Police turning over custody at Roger Williams Hospital on a CPD arrest warrant.

Sexual offender Registration

On 8/23/23 at 0652 hrs., Officers arrested Jerry Shead, 50, of 694 Park Ave. #3F Cranston, RI for Sexual Offender Registration Required. The arrest was the result of a pickup on an arrest and affidavit warrant at the aforementioned address. 

Shoplifting

On 8/23/23, at approximately 1504 Hours, Officers arrested Kasandra Coates, (40), of 8 ½ Cottage Street, Johnston, RI, for (1) count of Shoplifting and (1) count of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses. The arrest was the result of a larceny in progress at Walmart (1776 Plainfield Pike)

Stolen Vehicle

On 8/22/23 at 1203 hrs., Officers arrested Nico German, 21, of 213 Smith St. Cranston, RI for Possession of Stolen Motor Vehicle, Possession of Motor Vehicle w/ Altered VIN, and Forgery and Counterfeiting of Registration Plates. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop in the area of Cranston St. and Chestnut Hill Ave.

Vandalism

On 8/26/23 at 0900 hrs, Officer arrested William Dickie, 57, of 72 Woodmont Dr, Cranston for Domestic Vandalism and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. Arrest was the result of William turning himself in at headquarters.

On 8/26/2023 at 1640 hours, Officers arrested Christin Colon ,(24) of no permanent address for Domestic – Vandalism /Malicious Injury and Domestic Willful Trespass. The arrest was a result of a Providence Police incident and a previously issued Arrest and Affidavit warrant out of the Cranston Police Dept.
