The R.I. Bulldogs Baseball Club, with players from Cranston, West Warwick, Warwick, Cumberland, Providence, East Greenwich and West Greenwich, recently ended a successful 2014 season by finishing in third place in the New England AAU playoffs. After going 11-5 during the regular season, the Bulldogs entered the playoffs as the No. 15 seed (out of 16 teams that qualified). They upset No. 2 Southern Maine Tomahawks and No. 7 New England Storm to qualify for the Final Four, where they lost a hard-fought semifinal game in extra innings, 1-0, to the eventual champion. The coaches would like to thank all of the players and parents for their support this season.
