Friday, May 26, was a memorable night for Johnston High School Seniors as they embarked on their Senior Prom held at the Viking Hotel in Newport.
Despite the rough weather, the seniors were able to make the night one to remember for the rest of their lives. Their prom consisted of a “Beauty and the Beast” theme, with roses encased in glass on every table, and the air was filled with excitement and wonder.
Finally, came the announcement of the prom court, followed by the coronation of the king and queen. The girls included: Karla Gonzalez, Tiffany Socco, Gianna Vizzacco, and Vanida Singharath. The boys included: Kyle Nelson, Jordan Pena, Michael Sabitoni, and Evan Pennacchia.
The Senior Prom Queen and King were Nina Carnevale and Anthony Cabral. The senior class would like to thank all of the students, teachers, administrators and especially their class advisor Mrs. Erin Ferraro for helping their night one to remember.
