Students at Bain Middle School recently participated in a “Souper Bowl” contest, in which students brought in cans of soup and placed them into a bucket for either the New England Patriots or Los Angeles Rams ahead of the Super Bowl on Feb. 3. Hundreds of cans were collected for a local food bank. The school also conducted a Hat Day, on which students were able to purchase a hat pass. Proceeds helped purchase additional soup. Seventh-grade science teacher Cliff Cushman coordinated the effort. (Submitted photo)
