These homes are for low income earners. We need to build an economy that attracts good paying jobs and the housing markets will follow suit with more housing. What we don't need are more programs that attract low income earners. Create the jobs first. Private money will build housing when there is demand. Sorry to be crass, but Rhode Island needs givers than takers coming into the economy. It is just math.
