No one is to blame for this one. Everyone tried. Worcester is closer to Boston and even in the same state. They have a geographic advantage that R.I. doesn't. Plus, as Governor Gina Raimondo pointed out in the debate, we had an agreement in general that was red-taped to death in the R.I. legislature. McCoy Stadium is a bit of a white elephant, and has been for many years. I'm glad that's Pawtucket's problem, not ours.
