Dear Idiot, (Corrente),

Once again you showcase your complete lack of knowledge of the system. Corrente states "But the hundreds and hundreds of hours that the Fire Department employees spend to gather and copy his endless surge of requests is costing the taxpayers a FORTUNE".

The fact of the matter is that there were never hundreds of hours expended by anyone other than me. Each record request that is made, under the law, the municipality can charge $15.00/hr plus a fee for copies. Since the vast majority of these records that have been requested have been sent by PDF, there are little fees for copies, but there are hourly fees that I paid for. These records are all kept electronically so it is a click of a mouse, no research needed. You really are an uneducated dope.

Furthermore, the vast majority of the records that obtained the information proving the scheme, were kept in 3 ring binders, that under the law, I have the right to visually inspect.

(a) Except as provided in § 38-2-2(4), all records maintained or kept on file by any public body, whether or not those records are required by any law or by any rule or regulation, shall be public records and every person or entity shall have the right to inspect and/or copy those records at such reasonable time as may be determined by the custodian thereof.

I guess you missed the part in the article of the journal where the union president volunteered the information to the reporter that the WFD had a "side deal" with the mayor. His words, not mine. But then again, you would have missed that part because you are in fact a blithering idiot.
