Every time our politicians make a promise they keep it! Don't you remember that the R.I. Income tax is "temporary".

That the sales tax is only "1%". And that one is also "temporary"!

That ALL the money generated from the Lottery is for "education".

Don't you worry.

The tax money won't "fall by the wayside". Our politicians have a clear plan as to how to divert it.

And they will. That is why the only answer is to give them less to "divert".

The truth is... There has never been ONE PIECE of legislation that was worth the money the taxpayers spent. Not one.

Pull out your calculator and estimate how much you will pay in to unemployment or social security over your lifetime and decide for yourself if you will ever get your money back. Or even a small percentage of it.
