The state of New Hampshire's 2019 budget is $5.965 B, or $4397 per state resident.

The state of Rhode Island's 2019 budget is $9.9 B, or $9340 per state resident.

The real question is this:

What state services do Rhode Islanders receive, as a function of paying state income and sales taxes, that NH residents do NOT receive as a function of paying neither? Further, what is the quality of state services that ARE rendered as a function of those taxes?

Until RI voters process these issues nothing will ever change. I won't hold my breath.
