On June 25, the Edgewood Eagles Cheerleaders took part in a car wash at Cranston High School East to benefit Great Dane Rescue of New England. More than two-dozen cheerleaders ranging in age from five to 16 volunteered their time, under the direction of Lori Sweeney. Visitors were also able to spend time with several Great Danes on hand for the event. For more information on the rescue group, visit gdrne.org.
