The Cranston Herald and Cranston Public Library on Oct. 29 hosted a forum for candidates seeking ward seats on the City Council and School Committee in November’s election. On Oct. 6, the Herald and library are partnering for a second forum for citywide candidates, to run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Central Library at 140 Sockanosset Cross Road. The first hour, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., will be devoted to the citywide council candidates, while the second hour will feature the two candidates for mayor, incumbent Allan Fung and challenger Michael Sepe.
