HAYRIDE: Visitors in Garden City Center not only were able to meet Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus last Saturday, but also enjoyed horse drawn hayrides, provided by Whispering Winds Farm.
TRIPLE WISHES: Pictured with Santa Claus in Garden City Center are the Daniels sisters 6-year-old Kaitlyn, 5-year-old Meaghan and 9-year-old Jessica of Cranston. They are all students at Paul’s School in Cranston.
THAT MAGICAL WAVE: Santa Claus waves to the crowd upon entering Garden City Center last Saturday to open the holiday shopping season. Whispering Winds Farm provided the horse drawn carriage with Pat Mann as the pilot and 4-year-old Rene Pigeon as the co-pilot.
FIRST IN LINE: For the first time, 6-year-old Samantha and 9-year-old Madeline Reynolds were first in line to visit with Santa Claus in his cabin. They are both students at St. Mary’s in Cranston. For the first time, Santa was in a cabin, built by Reeds Ferry Sheds.
MAKING AN ENTRANCE: Santa Claus was immediately surrounded by well wishers upon his arrival in Garden City in a horse drawn carriage along with Mrs. Claus. Hundreds of visitors, of all ages, crowded the Gazebo to meet both of them.
Wishing Santa Claus a Merry Christmas was 3-year-old Addison Dorian, as she is in awe of him. The look on both her and Santa’s faces sums up the magic of Christmas. Santa will be also be available for visits and professional photo packages this season on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. Shoppers can simply drop in to the cabin or make appointments online at gcc.noerrsanta.com.
