Students of Edward S. Rhodes and Eden Park elementary schools took part in the Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day on Tuesday, November 14, during which students across America walk to school to remember Ruby Bridges, one of the very first black students to attend a formerly segregated whites-only elementary school in Louisiana in 1954. Dozens of students from kindergarten through to fifth grade participated, supported by parents, teachers, and local law enforcement. (Photos provided by CPSED)
