The Ocean State Center for Independent Living (OSCIL) will be hosting a free Lunch & Learn Workshop from 12-2 p.m. at
OSCIL's Pawtucket location at 175 Main Street on Thursday, January 31.
This workshop, entitled Medicaid Matters In Rhode Island, will cover aspects of Medicaid in Rhode Island including how can Medicaid benefit you and other Rhode Island residents and how can we organize to keep the Medicaid program strong and questions and concerns about Medicaid.
Guest speakers are Linda Katz of the Economic Progress Institute and Ray Gagne and Marjorie Waters of the Rhode Island Organizing Project (RIOP).
As part of OSCIL's mission to provide outreach, education and opportunities for peer support, OSCIL offers these free Lunch and Learn workshops highlighting various solutions that can increase access in your home and community.
Advance registration is required. Call 738-1013 if you plan to attend. Seating is limited. Lunch (pizza) will be served. A sign language interpreter has been secured.
