Friday, Jan. 3 at 10:30 a.m.This support group provides a chance for people with vision impairments to meet others who face the same frustrations and find ways to overcome these issues.

Real ID

At this presentation, you will learn what documents you will need in order to get your “Real ID.” There will also be an explanation of the process along with a question-and-answer period.

Family Support Group

The Cranston Police and Substance Abuse Task Force are working together on educating and supporting the city of Cranston during the opioid crisis. This support group is designed to assist anyone dealing with the effects of having a loved one addicted and/or lost to opioids. For more information, call 562-2286.

Game Time at the Center: Wheel of Fortune

Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 10 a.m.It is time for “Wheel of Fortune” at the center! Come and have some fun and laughs.

Diabetes Support Group: Eye Care

The potential for complications pertaining to the eye is very real and serious for people with diabetes. At this presentation we will discuss what we can do to prevent and how to treat eye diseases.

Book Club

Tuesday, Jan. 28 at 10:30 a.m.Come and join our Book Club. We meet monthly. This month we are reading “Color of Water”

by James McBride. It is a black man’s tribute to his white mother, the autobiography and memoir of James McBride first published in 1995.

Exercise Programs

The secret to feeling better and living longer – it’s called staying active! Start the New Year by treating yourself to one of our exercise classes, including Chair Exercises, Aerobics, Tai Chi, Yoga, Chair Yoga, Making Fitness Easy, Zumba, Bone Builders of RI, Ballroom Dancing and Line Dancing. Living Well Rhode Island: Tools for Healthy Living

This free program is for those individuals who simply want to improve their quality of life. It provides self-management tools anyone can use to make a positive difference in their lives.
