Joining in on the milestone celebration Cranston Mayor Allan Fung presented a citation to Deby and Murray Kaplan at Rainbow Bakery on their 100th anniversary in business. Joining them in celebration was Ward 2 Council Paul McAuley, and State Rep. Robert Jacquard, as well as their daughter, Annie Kaplan Raxon and her husband, Mark. The Rhode Island general assembly and the Cranston City Council for their business achievement have previously recognized the Kaplan family. Mayor Fung offered his best wishes and congratulations on hitting the amazing 100-year marker. From left to right at the ceremony were Rep. Jacquard, Murray Kaplan, Deby Kaplan, Mayor Fung, Mark Raxon, Annie Kaplan and Councilman Paul McAuley.
