The students at Park View Middle School created a sea of red and blue outside Friday morning as they held a Memorial Day program. The event included an award-winning essay from one of their students, Charlie Maguire, called “The Real Hero’s,” as well as speeches by school and city officials. They also laid a wreath down in front of the school and invited Captain Martin Clark, a fighter pilot in the Barnes National Guard, to speak to the students. (Cranston Herald photo)
