Aniece Germain, co-founder of Hope and Change for Haiti and an active member of several community organizations, was honored last week as one of the YWCA’s 2019 Women of Achievement during a gathering at Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln. In addition to the award – which recognizes “achievements promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity” – Germain received proclamations from members of the state’s congressional delegation, General Treasurer Seth Magaziner and Gov.
