Mario Sepe, 92, has been an owner and barber at his own shop located at 1334 Cranston St. since 1947. As of the end of August, he is now retired. He said he will most miss the people he encountered through his work. He is pictured cutting the hair of longtime friend and customer Jerry Coppolelli, who has been going to Mario since the day he opened. They have been friends since attending Cranston High School East. Both men were drafted after high school and each served during World War II. (Herald photo by Steve Popiel)
