Last Friday, the DiMeo family of Time Plating, Inc. officially transferred nearly a half-acre parcel of land along Randall Pond to the Pawtuxet River Authority & Watershed Council. Over the next two to three years, the Pawtuxet River Authority & Watershed Council, in collaboration with the DiMeo Family, will plan improvements to this donated property, including a canoe access to the pond. Initial planning for this conservation area was funded by a grant from the Rhode Island Rivers Council. The new name of the donated property will be DiMeo Grove on Randall Pond. Pictured here are four generations of the DiMeo family, along with Bob Nero, chairman of the Pawtuxet River Authority. Pictured are Dyana Richmond, Bob Nero, Bob DiMeo, Doris DiMeo holding her grandson Max Richmond, and Frank DiMeo.
